three more years...

so i met with my advisor today to talk about how much longer i have til i graduate...
guess what she said...
yeah, i was pretty pissed. i was almost sure i would be done in like a year and a half... but instead, by the time i graduate, it will have been 6 years in school... and i'll be 28. how crappy is that!
yeah, needless to say, i'm still pretty pissed...
i just want to get out of milwaukee and now i'm quarantined here for another 3 fricken years.
there's gotta be a reason for it, right?

Why does it HAVE to be like that? Can't you, like, take summer courses and take more credits in the year instead? Don't you get to kinda pick your pace?

i could take more credits or do summer classes, but it would just end up screwing me over cause my last 3 semesters have to be done spring, fall, spring and they cannot be changed. so if i take extra stuff now, it would just force me to go part-time at some point and then i would lose a lot of funding...
so it kinda sucks all around...
