update

hey guys, sorry for the delay in letting you know what's up with my Dad, it's just that I don't have much info. The symptoms have decreased daily, but that doesn't mean he's in the clear yet. Sometimes these 'symptoms' he has aren't so much symptoms as a precursor, and Bell's could yet hit. So we're still just waiting and hoping for the best.

You know I told you Bell's Palsey makes half your face go droopy and slack, like a stroke, so it looks kinda like it's melting? Well the other night my dad comes home from work and when my mom met him at the door he was contorting his face, drooping his lip down, trying to make it look like he had a melting face! He's SUCH a dork. My Mom was like "it WASN'T funny!" but we were sure laughing when she told me about it!

Thanks again for praying, and I'll let you know if anything else comes of it

my dad

Last night my Dad went to the emergency room because his face was going numb. They did a Cat scan, an Ultra Sound and an MRI and they didn't find anything (which is good, it wasn't a stroke or an aneurysm or anything like that), so they sent him home. But as the day progressed, the tingling spread down his neck. From what the dr. said, and from what my mom and I have found online about his symptoms, it looks like Bells Palsy. That's when half of your face goes slack, like you've had a stroke. They say in most cases it goes away either within 2 weeks or within 6 months, but in some cases it never goes away and in the two cases we've konwn of personally, it didn't ever go away. And it's REALLY bad timing, because this great new position in his job which he just got hired for - which I don't think I told you guys about, but it's PERFECT and a lot better salary, which they really need right now - ... if he gets Bell's Palsy he prob wouldn't be able to take the job because it would impair his speech, among other things. It's kinda freaking me out, so if you'd please pray with us for him, that'd be great. Thank you

Hey, I was in talks with Lea the other day and I wanted to put this up on here too. Lea mother has cancer and they are going to be operating in two weeks I think. Prolly less than that now. I know they could use our prayers and their mom too!

3 things. work.

• the girl i worked with today... her kid was problem child 1000. holy cow he was a horrible little child. santa has him on the naughty list.

• i was in the baby room today and had to help put the clothes back on the kids after lunch. the teacher laughed when noticing the tag was showing and the shirt backwards on some of the kids i did. typical guy.

• isn't it so cool you can flatuate and blame it on the kids. ( seriously, I don't do that, it would be cool thought)
