The other day at work on the phone with a customer, I unwittingly called a gentlemen - one Mr. Aubrey Something-or-other - "Ma'am" three times throughout the conversation. Each time, I said "Thank you, ma'am" and when he responded "It's sir" I thought he was saying "Sure". Finally I caught on, "Uh, sorry sir". Hey, you can't blame me - his name was Aubrey and anyway, all old people sound alike on the phone, be they male or female.
Seriously....people get so serious about their TV's. Like the one kid, sounded like he was in his twenties, who had two large screen High-def TV sets and DirecTV receiver boxes...in one room (not to mention the multiple other sets around the house). He was a football fan, of course.
And to one guy I said the soonest a tech could come out and check out his stuff was in 5 days, and he thought I was kidding. "THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!" he raged. IT'S A TV! I wanted to holler back, GO OUTSIDE FOR A CHANGE!
Anyway, yesterday I started my 4pm - 1am shift.
Late night TV watchers are....odd folks. Especially the enebriated ones. I'm sure I'll have more stories about Them.
Anyway, enjoying the music file, Mandie, thanks.
Enjoy your day's off, Andy, you sneaky bastard.
Nolan, I forgot to text and tell you I used you as a reference on an application to volunteer at the YMCA. Hope you don't mind...
Hannah...kiss Abe for me, I'm still waiting until he's old enough to date.
Daniel....where you be?
